YOKE manufactures William Hackett Grade 8 forged lifting components from alloy steel in accordance with EN1677. This includes the Grade 8 Clevis Self Locking Hook
Firstly, every Grade 8 forged self locking hook goes through magnaflux crack detection after heat treatment.
Then they are also individually proof load tested to 2.5 times working load limit in accordance with EN1677.
Only components compliant with all aspects of EN1677 are appropriate for use in chain slings certified to EN818-4.
Additionally, William Hackett Grade 8 lifting components are suitable for use in a temperature range of -40°C up to 200°C. This does not reduce the working load limit.
