Inspection, servicing and repair support is available throughout the working life of your equipment, including thorough examinations in line with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER).

More than 40 years of experience

Our story
A family business with engineering at its heart
John Bramley founded Bramley Engineering in 1979, drawing on a career in crane engineering, design and production. The business became a registered company in 1981.
His son Graham joined in 1988, initially working on the accounts before developing the lifting tackle side of the business. His involvement grew to include bespoke lifting design, installation methods and the introduction of new digital systems.
Graham became Managing Director in 2008. Alongside fellow director Emma Bramley, he has continued to develop the business, building on its engineering foundations and longstanding customer relationships.
Today, led by Graham and Emma Bramley, the team delivers everything from overhead cranes and gantries to bespoke lifting and recovery systems for complex sites, restricted spaces and unusual loads.
Our projects have included work for Thames Water, as well as a joint project with Leidos at Tesla’s US manufacturing operation. That range reflects the type of work we are known for: practical, site-specific engineering built around the challenge in front of us.
