At Bramley Engineering, a family-owned business specialising in the design and manufacture of bespoke cranes and lifting equipment, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Welder Fabricator. Our commitment extends beyond construction to include LOLER inspections and safety checks across various industries. As we expand, we seek dedicated professionals to enhance our team in Leighton Buzzard.
The Role:
This full-time, permanent position is essential for our operations, requiring expertise in fabricating crane structures, access steelwork, and other steel structures along with various bespoke lifting equipment. You will work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, at our premises in Leighton Buzzard, with the role available to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
– Execute welding and fabrication of steelwork.
– Interpret and apply fabrication drawings accurately.
– Manage on-site installation of cranes and lifting equipment.
– Conduct daily checks on equipment to ensure operational safety.
– Handle the loading and unloading of steel deliveries and collections.
– Adhere to all quality, health & safety, and environmental regulations.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated individual with a keen interest in developing their industry knowledge. As a Welder Fabricator at Bramley Engineering, you should demonstrate:
– Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
– Competence in reading and executing fabrication drawings.
– A full UK Driving Licence.
– High attention to detail and precision in manufacturing.
– A solid foundation in general engineering principles.
– Experience in site fitting is advantageous.
– A proactive, can-do attitude.
