Our Crane Design & Installation Process
We are your turnkey solution for custom built cranes. Our initial consultation will assess the requirements of your project. We work closely with you to see the project through, from design through to installation. Our initial consultation, design and quote are provided free of charge to ensure that our solution is the most effective for your needs and that we can deliver on budget.
1. Site Visit & Project Needs Assessment
We will meet you at your site to discuss the nature of your lifting challenges. We will learn about your current operations, discuss future plans, and work to find the most cost-effective, safe and reliable solution to suit your needs for the long term.
2. Scan Of The Design Environment For 3D Mapping
For all of our crane design projects, we conduct a 3D scan of the lifting environment to ensure our designs and fabrications are millimetre-perfect. This ensures that upon delivery, every component fits precisely, that no elements in the lifting environment will impede the operation of the crane, and the crane will not collide with anything in the lifting area.
3. 3D Crane Design Using CAD Autodesk Software
Our Design Office makes full use of 3D CAD software to design all types of cranes and lifting accessories, tailored to each need. We also apply Finite Element Analysis (FEA) during the design stage, which allows us to simulate stress, strain, and deflection within the crane structure before manufacture. This ensures that every design is not only fit for purpose but also validated against real-world load conditions.
4. Crane Manufacture In Our UK Factory
We occupy a fully equipped factory in Leighton Buzzard, allowing us to manufacture many forms of specialist cranes including overhead cranes, gantries, monorails, jib cranes, davits and bespoke items. Our expert engineers craft our crane designs to your exacting requirements ensuring the accuracy and safety during the manufacuring process.
5. Delivery Of Cranes & Components Nationwide
As part of our design process we ensure that your crane solution can be efficiently transported to site, regardless of how difficult access may be. We design and manufacture any additional transportation elements needed to get our equipment to site and ensure our installation runs smoothly and on schedule.
6. Crane Assembly, Installation, & LOLER Testing
All installation work is carried out by our experienced site fitters. We take pride in the quality of our work, aiming to provide a fast and efficient service from design through to manufacture and installation. We will provide all of the necessary tools, equipment and manpower to get the job done.
