Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative operations at our site in Leighton Buzzard. Reporting directly to the company owner, this full-time role plays a key part in supporting project delivery, document control, and overall business efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a pivotal function within a close-knit, high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the smooth running of daily office operations

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external communications

  • Maintain and update project documentation, including Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs) and Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&Ms)

  • Oversee document control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards

  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to coordinate project timelines and logistics

  • Provide administrative support across HR, procurement, and operations

  • Manage the company’s CRM system (Zoho), ensuring accurate records and supporting data-driven decision making

  • Handle basic financial administration, including invoicing and budget tracking

  • Monitor office supplies and coordinate facilities management

  • Support the implementation and adherence to health and safety protocols


About You

We’re looking for someone proactive and dependable, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Familiarity with document control procedures and compliance standards

  • Financial literacy – ability to manage invoices and budget tracking

  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working within the construction, engineering, or steelwork sectors

  • Working knowledge of Zoho CRM

  • Previous experience preparing RAMs and O&Ms in a project-based setting


Salary & Benefits

  • £35,000–£40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

  • 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Statutory pension scheme

  • Free on-site parking

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm

  • On-site role based in Leighton Buzzard

  • Start date: April or early May 2025
